We believe that this is an accurate description of what happens in the life of an individual who gives up homosexuality. Resigning one thing that is inferior, for the only thing that will truly fill our empty soul: Jesus Christ. Exchange Ministries is an interdenominational Christian ministry first and foremost dedicated to helping men and women find freedom from homosexuality and sexual brokenness. Secondly, to educate family and community members impacted by homosexuality.
We want to send a message to the church that conveys what we feel is a message of redemption, not hopelessness. All men and women deserve respect and dignity. In our process of education, we hope to convey the idea that All have sinned, and straight people go to hell, too. It is only the saving relationship with Jesus that gives us hope. Men and women who struggle with homosexuality are no different from anyone else, and their sin is no greater. As one of our group leaders so accurately said recently, "Jesus did not shed any more blood for a homosexual than he did for the most perfect human on the earth."
